Welcome to Spool Mate! This guide will help you get started with managing your 3D printing filaments.

What is Spool Mate?

Spool Mate is a comprehensive tool for managing your 3D printing filaments. Track materials, colors, usage, and more all in one place.

Creating Your First Filament

  1. Navigate to the Filaments page from the main menu
  2. Click the New button to create a new filament entry
  3. Fill in the details:
    • Material type (PLA, PETG, ABS, etc.)
    • Color
    • Brand
    • Weight and remaining amount
    • Location where it's stored
  4. Click Save to add your filament

Understanding the Dashboard

The overview page provides a quick summary of your filament collection:

  • Total number of filaments
  • Status breakdown (available, low stock, depleted)
  • Material distribution
  • Color distribution
